Reporta writes a monthly retainer report for consultants and freelancers from your own notes, task list and any numbers you track. It covers what you delivered, outcomes, what's next and what you need from the client, writes only from your inputs, and flags gaps. One client is free; plans start at $19 a month.
What goes in
- Your working notes or a weekly update, pasted or uploaded.
- Emails about the project, forwarded to the client's Reporta address.
- A task list typed in or exported as CSV, and optional metrics.
What comes out
The general retainer template: what was achieved, the work delivered, outcomes your inputs report, the plan for next period, and open questions and decisions needed.
Every sentence is written only from your inputs and cites them. Figures, changes and charts are computed from your data with source and period. Anything a section needs that your inputs don't cover is flagged for you, and nothing reaches the client until you approve it.
Where it stops
If you don't keep notes during the month, Reporta has little to write from; it won't fill gaps. A two-line note per week is enough.

Questions
Do I need any integrations?
No. Pasting notes and typing a task list is enough. Integrations are optional and can wait until after your first report.
