Use cases

Monthly client reports for development and web agencies

Reporta turns a development agency's task board, release notes and stand-up notes into a monthly client report a non-developer can read: what shipped, what's next, and what you need from the client. It writes only from your inputs, flags what they don't cover, and waits for your approval before anything is shared.

What goes in

  • Your board from Asana, Trello or ClickUp (finished in the period, open and blocked), or a CSV export from Jira or Linear.
  • Release notes and stand-up notes, pasted, uploaded or forwarded by email.
  • Optional numbers such as uptime or page speed, from a CSV or Google Sheet.

What comes out

The web development template asks for features shipped in plain language, what's being built next, and blockers, scope questions and feedback needed from the client.

Every sentence is written only from your inputs and cites them. Figures, changes and charts are computed from your data with source and period. Anything a section needs that your inputs don't cover is flagged for you, and nothing reaches the client until you approve it.

Where it stops

Reporta doesn't read GitHub or Jira directly today; export a CSV. It reports on the work, it doesn't track time or invoice.

What you pay

Plans from $19 a month for 5 clients, with a 7-day free trial. One client and two reports a month are free, no card.

Questions

Will it explain technical work to the client?

It's instructed to write in plain language for non-developers, from your task names and notes. Review the wording before approving: it can only be as clear as your inputs.
